One stubborn idea: make competency visible
CheckSafe was born out of years spent watching good organisations struggle to answer a simple question. Who is competent, right now, for the work in front of them?
Before CheckSafe, we worked in training and saw first-hand how spreadsheets left organisations unsure when training was due or unable to see the whole picture. In high-risk work, that lack of visibility can have serious consequences.
The idea
A clear view of where the gaps are
So in 2022, we built it. Not another generic health and safety system, but a focused platform that gives leaders a helicopter view of competency across their whole operation, and the tools to close the gaps it finds.
Where we are now
Trusted where the stakes are highest
Today, CheckSafe manages competency for some of New Zealand's most safety-critical operations, from rail to civil construction. We keep developing it around what our customers ask for, just as we always have.
What's next
Same focus, bigger reach
